Top Mid Cap Funds: If you look at the data of four months, there was an inflow of 1628 crores in midcap funds in January, 1962 crores in December 2022, 1176 crores in November and 1385 crores in October. According to the report of Value Research, Kotak Emerging Equity Fund had the highest inflow in the year 2022.


Top Mid Cap Funds: In the last few months, investors of mutual funds are showing more confidence in smallcap and midcap funds. If you look at the AMFI data, in the month of January alone, a total inflow of 3883 crores was recorded in these two categories, while only 715 crores were invested in large cap funds. If we look at the data of the last four months, there was an inflow of 1628 crores in midcap funds in January, 1962 crores in December 2022, 1176 crores in November and 1385 crores in October.


Boom-boom investment in midcaps after Corona correction

Industry experts say that after the correction in the market after Corona, there has been a flood of investors in midcap and smallcap funds. If we look at the data of the last three quarters, a total investment of 14632 crores came in midcap funds, while inflow of 15172 crores came in smallcaps. Whereas, there has been an inflow of only 6292 crores in the large cap.


Maximum inflow came in these 2 midcap funds

According to the report of Value Research, Kotak Emerging Equity Fund Regular Plan and PGIM India Midcap Opportunities Fund are the top midcap funds on the basis of net flows in the year 2022. 4600 crore in Kotak Emerging Funds and 3400 crore in PGIM India Midcap Funds.


SIP of Rs 5000 will become 2.5 lakhs

According to the Value Research calculator, if an investor starts an SIP of Rs 5000 in Kotak Emerging Equity Fund Regular Plan and deposits Rs 1000 upfront at the time of opening the scheme, then his fund will be around Rs 2.5 lakh in three years. In these five years, his total accumulated capital will be 1.8 lakh rupees, on which the net return will be about 70 thousand rupees. The average return on an annualized basis is around 22 per cent. Its NAV is Rs 76.53. SIP of at least 100 rupees can be done. The minimum investment will be Rs.100. A minimum withdrawal of Rs 1000 can be made. The asset size of this fund is Rs 23,260 crore.
